<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The new Stampin' Up catalog is here! It has some fabulous new products, and I love the new in-colors! I will be sharing some 3x3 cards I created using the new in colors. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis0dpZsNPLtVg_bQlOSQIcsE50zQN3E5ONP3eDRt18OV4eo8VB1LTAQF4YYmIA2Bwn4yQTMc0gTqdbrXu0Q34nLHGK2DX5JlI7OqQRbblEM_vH6HrMvzYXW1M8KziUmenVA3rwBxiHJIkB/s1600/WP_20150618_21_40_58_Pro.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis0dpZsNPLtVg_bQlOSQIcsE50zQN3E5ONP3eDRt18OV4eo8VB1LTAQF4YYmIA2Bwn4yQTMc0gTqdbrXu0Q34nLHGK2DX5JlI7OqQRbblEM_vH6HrMvzYXW1M8KziUmenVA3rwBxiHJIkB/s320/WP_20150618_21_40_58_Pro.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To create these cards, I used <b>Whisper White </b>and the new In-Colors:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>Watermelon Wonder</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>Cucumber Crush</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>Delightful Dijon</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>Mint Macaron</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>Tip Top Taupe</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also mixed and matched two different stamp sets among the different cards to create different looks on the cards using the same stamps:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>Flower Patch (#134207) </b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>Work of Art (W#134111, C#134114)</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Don't forget the coordinating framelits, <b>Flower Fair Framelits (#133731)</b>, to go with the Flower Patch stamps. I also used the <b>Bitty Banners Framelits (#129267) </b>to cut out the phrase on top of the flowers on the Dijon colored card. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Flower Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/134207S.jpg" width="190" /><img align="top" alt="Flower Fair Framelits Dies by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133731S.jpg" width="190" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To coordinate with the new in colors, I added some of the new embellishments to a couple of the 3x3 cards above. I used the <b>Blossom Accents (#138383)</b>, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love the Sahara Sand Lace Trim <strong>(#137866) </strong>in the Occasions catalog and decided it would be perfect for a wedding card. I wrapped the ribbon around the card fronts and scrunched it up with the glue dots to hold it in place before using more glue dots to attach the Very Vintage Buttons <strong>(#129327). </strong>The colors on the card are Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Sahara Sand 7/8 (2.2 cm) Lace Trim by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/137866S.jpg" width="190" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the Stampin Distress Tool <strong>(#127562)</strong> to make the edges of each of the card layers have the torn look. Also, on the layers, the Very Vanilla in the background and the Sahara Sand on top of that are embossed with the Lovely Lace embossing folder <strong>(#133737).</strong></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<strong></strong> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133737S.jpg" width="190" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The flower that is stamped in Sahara Sand and cut out is from the Everything Eleanor stamp set <strong>(#W131987, C124164)</strong> and the phrase "Wishing you happiness" is from the Blessed by God stamp set <strong>(#W134297, C134300)</strong>. I also used the Blessed by God stamp set on the inside of the card to add the inside phrase, along with the flowery cross, which were both stamped in Sahara Sand.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Blessed By God Clear-Mount Stamp Set" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/134300S.jpg" width="190" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To add some shine and sparkle to the card, I added another one of my favorite items to it, which is the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz <strong>(#118772). </strong>I sprayed it on the entire card front after using dimensionals and snail adhesive to put it together. Who doesn't love to get a wedding with a little sparkle and shimmer on it?!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, if you are wanting to order from the Occasions Catalog or from the current catalog, then now is the time to get your orders in before time runs out! There's only a couple of days left until the new catalog is available to order from. Happy stamping!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the first shaker card I made, and I loved making it! They are so much fun, and others love to receive them, as well! You can look up videos if you need specific instructions to watch on attaching the card to it, but I will try to briefly explain below.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>-Colors Used:</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Whisper White</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Melon Mambo</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Basic Black</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
*Bermuda Bay</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is what you will need to create the shaker effect: I used the largest size (1 3/4") of the shakers. I first punched the Bermuda Bay paper with the 1 3/4" circle punch and a 2 1/2" circle from the window sheets and from the new washi sheets.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-Stick shaker frame onto circle washi sheet and stamp <i>birthday </i>o<b>w</b>n it from <b>Celebrate Today Stamp </b>(OC 137138)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-Attach the window sheet to the back of the bermuda bay card front with the circle hole punched in it</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
-Put the <b>In Color Sequins</b> (133631) in the shaker frame and stick it to the card front. Then peel the back of the <b>Washi Sheet </b>(OC 137788) and attach it to the white card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Shaker Frames" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/124155S.jpg" /><img alt="Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets by Stampin' Up!" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/137788S.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To create the card front I used the 1 3/4" circle punch with the washi sheets and then used the balloon framelit <b>(Balloon Framelits Dies-OC 137362) </b>to cut around it to create the balloon with a hole in it. You will then attach this washi sheet balloon around the window sheet.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Balloon Framelits Dies by Stampin' Up!" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/137362S.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally, stamp and cut out the balloons and add the whisper white baker's twine for the balloon strings at the bottom. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, I needed a baby card, so I decided to look at the beautiful baby DSP papers that I had. There are many different DSP's to choose from to go with many types of cards or scrapbook pages that you would need.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I created this baby card using the Lullaby DSP <b>(#133695)</b>, Whisper White cardstock, and Pistachio Pudding cardstock.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Lullaby Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133695T.jpg" width="125" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wanted to emphasize on the hearts on the DSP, so I used the Happy Hearts Textured Embossing Folder (from the Occasions Catalog, <b>#137364</b>) and the Hearts Collection Framelits <b>(#125599)</b>. When cutting the hearts, I used them to place in the top corner under the Wooden Elements heart <b>(#132258).</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/137364T.jpg" width="125" /> <img alt="Wooden Elements Embellishments" class="image-main" data-large="/images/EC/132258G.jpg" data-width="800" height="320" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_imageViewer_imgMain" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/132258S.jpg" style="border-width: 0px; height: 200px; width: 200px;" width="320" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also used the Itty Bitty Banner Stamp Set <b>(W#132022, C#126257)</b> and Bitty Banners Framelits <b>(#129267)</b> to add the small banner on the front. I used Crisp Canteloupe ink on the Pistachio Pudding paper. The Crisp Canteloupe ink was also used when stamping Congrats at the top corner using the <b>Simply Wonderful Stamp Set </b>in the <b>Sale-A-Bration Catalog</b>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Remember the Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31, so get your free items before it ends! You have to spend $50 in products in order to receive a free item. Happy Stamping!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the lotus blossoms stamp set in the Sale-a-Bration catalog! Remember, you just need to put in a $50 order to get a free item from Sale-a-Bration!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For the card, I used Calypso Coral paper and Whisper White on the card front. I also used these colors to cut out the hearts. The saying on the white heart is stamped in Calypso Coral, with Rhinestones on the side. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>-Lotus Blossom Stamp Set #139143</b></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>-Rhinestones Basic Jewels #119246</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When stamping the lotus blossoms, I used Wild Wasabi for the stems. For the blossoms, I used Calypso Coral, Tempting Turquoise, and Perfect Plum.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used the Spotlight Technique to punch out part of the blossom after I had stamped the coral one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To create the coral heart behind the spotlighted section of the stamp, I traced around the outside of the small heart framelit and cut it out with the <b>Paper Snips (#103579)</b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

This treat is cut out using the <strong>Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die (#137547), </strong>which can be found in the Occasions Catalog. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Yesterday I made a quick and simple card for my niece's birthday, and what better to put in a kid's birthday card but candy! I used the Stampin' Up treat cups to hold a small package of M&M's.</div>

In the bottom right corner I put a birthday stamp, but I guess I got mixed up (Oops, Sorry:)) and used a retired stamp set called Make a Wish. You could add any of your own birthday stamps, though. My first This and That book is finally finished! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I did it of a trip we took to the beach with our family. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you enjoy scrapbooking, then these are great thing to try out in order to have all of your pictures all in one place. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The couple little pockets that they come with allow you to keep tickets or other items from your trip to add and as is seen in the bottom picture, I held the braids my girls had gotten in the pocket with some of the washi tape (Retro Fresh Washi Tape #133001).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can get washi tape, which is one of my favorite things, and stickers to go with whichever book you choose. I have the Epic Day themed This and That book. The rotary stamps are also nice to add a small phrase or date to the pages in the book. </div>

Coming up with a guy's card can sometimes be difficult but this time I have decided to use punch art to create a wrench. Here is the birthday card I created:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2UAsomHgDDg3kwIOulGpGOkdNfMR4p6FcVxGQb9o0zMHTucO2kNnIJzK3N52T-wTfGoXolKs0Y1ITxXEOdKJYZSsEkyI-ZDdnK8H0iqRVsvmENqSTvr2gKf43V-TOZK-mbgdnYSovT3f6/s1600/WP_20141230_22_25_52_Pro.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2UAsomHgDDg3kwIOulGpGOkdNfMR4p6FcVxGQb9o0zMHTucO2kNnIJzK3N52T-wTfGoXolKs0Y1ITxXEOdKJYZSsEkyI-ZDdnK8H0iqRVsvmENqSTvr2gKf43V-TOZK-mbgdnYSovT3f6/s1600/WP_20141230_22_25_52_Pro.jpg" height="200" width="112" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The card base is night of navy and the card front is soft suede. The edges are distressed and sponged with early espresso. I also used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder to make it look like wood behind the wrench. At the bottom of the card, I added the 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon (#132140).<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img alt="Stampin' Distress Tool" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/127562T.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Stampin' Distress Tool<br />#127562<br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img alt="Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/127821T.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Woodgrain Embossing Folder<br />#127821<br /><br /><br /></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
When creating the punch art wrench, I have seen many different ones made, I used the Modern Label Punch with two of the 1 3/8" Circle Punches (#119860) on each end. On the top circle, I used the Word Window Punch to cut out a section of the wrench and the 1/2" Circle Punch (#119869) to create the hole in the bottom of the wrench, which was all punched out of Basic Gray . <br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img alt="Modern Label Punch" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/119849S.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Modern Label Punch<br />#119849</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img alt="Window Word Punch" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/119857S.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Word Window Punch<br />#119857<br /><br /><br /><h3>
<span style="font-weight: normal;">I also used these two punches to create the tag at the top of the card I stamped "Just for you" from the stamp set called Teeny Tiny Wishes (C #127802, W #128748) in Basic Gray on the soft suede and then punched it with the Modern Label Punch. I then punched out a Word Window in the Night of Navy and punched the Modern Label around it. I found out that it was much easier to punch the word window first rather than trying to punch it last out of the modern label. Happy stamping, and happy new year<span style="font-size: 13px;">!</span></span></h3>
</td></tr>

<div align="center">
I had a lot of fun creating this winter banner at a downline meeting. Many different embellishments are included in the kit to provide a few different possibilies of options of how to create the banner to fit your own taste. </div>
<div align="center">
Using the <strong>Build a Banner Simply Created Kit (#</strong><span id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_lblItemNumber"><strong>133507)</strong> and the <strong><span id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_lblItemTitle">Christmas Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit</span> (#</strong><span id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_lblItemNumber"><strong>132697),</strong> you can create a lovely banner for Christmas or winter, too. You can use the letter stencils and canvas banners to create any word you choose. When creating the design and letters, I chose to sponge on the canvas instead of using the spritzer to put the ink on. You can use Basic Gray, Pool Party, and Bermuda Bay to coordinate with colors of the Christmas Banner Kit. </span></span></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
<img align="top" alt="Build a Banner Simply Created Kit" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133507T.jpg" width="125" /> <img align="top" alt="Christmas Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/132697T.jpg" width="125" /></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
The rosettes that are included in the Christmas Banner Kit makes 4 of them and since I needed a 5th one, I used the coordinating <strong>Winter Frost DSP (#<span id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_lblItemNumber">132341)</span>.</strong> I cut and scored a strip. I also used hot glue to adhere the rosettes onto the banner. </div>

Well, with snow possible tonight, what a better way to end the evening but with a lovely Christmas card using the Winter Frost DSP.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
File Folder Card Idea Inspired by Patty (Patty's Stamping Spot)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I saw the style and video of how to create a file folder card, which uses the <strong>Envelope Punch Board</strong>, on Patty's Stamping Spot blog and then changed the design of it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Envelope Punch Board" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133774T.jpg" width="125" /></div>
<div align="center">
<strong>#133774</strong></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
I used the <strong>Pool Party</strong> and <strong>Smoky Slate</strong> papers to coordinate with the colors in the <strong>Winter Frost DSP Stack (#132183)</strong>. I also used the corner rounder that is on the envelope punch board to round the top to corners of the DSP. I stamped and cut out with the framelits (<strong>Festive Flurry Bundle W#133284, C#133285</strong> different sized snowflakes for the inside and outside of the card, layering them with dimensionals . I also used the <strong>Illuminate Glimmer Ink (#126857)</strong> to stamp snowflakes on the inside. </div>
<div align="center">
<img align="top" alt="Festive Flurry Clear-Mount Bundle" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133285T.jpg" width="125" /></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
I then placed <strong>rhinestones (#119246)</strong> in the middle of the snowflakes. On the front of the card, you will also see the beautiful <strong>Silver Ribbon (#132137)</strong> and the <strong>Frosted Finishes Embellishment (#132150)</strong> to complete the look. </div>
<div align="center">
<img align="top" alt="Frosted Finishes Embellishments" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/132150T.jpg" width="125" /></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
On the right side of the front, where the tab is, I stamped Merry Christmas using the <strong>Petite Pairs Stamp Set (W#128706, C#122497)</strong>. For the greeting on the inside, I used one of the single stamps from the holiday collection <strong>Magical Season (#134777)</strong>. </div>
<div align="center">
Have fun stamping, and stay warm!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These can be Halloween cards or you can add the cellophane bags in the inside to make them into Halloween treats, as in the picture above. The colors I used were Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, and Whisper White. I love the washi tape to go with your Halloween treats, too. I added the Witches' Brew Washi Tape (132156) to the corners and it's also a great way to close the Cellophane Bags.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
On the top layer of the card, I used the Halloween Happiness stamp (131859) and then cut it out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003). I also wanted to try out the Black and Orange Glitter (132206), so I used the 2-Way Glue Pen to only put the adhesive on certain parts of the stamp and frame. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
(idea of extended flap card inspired by Dawn Olchefske)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I created a card using the new Label Card Thinlit Die (#133479), but I used the method of adding the extended flap to the card. I found a video from another demonstrator (DOstamping with Dawn) very helpful to do this technique. For the cardstock of the card color, I used Very Vanilla paper. I also used the word "hi" from this Label Thinlit Die set on the front and then added rhinestones (#119246).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img alt="Label Card Thinlits Die" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_imageView_imgbtnEnlargeImage1" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133479S.jpg" style="border-width: 0px; width: 200px;" /><a href="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133479T.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img align="top" alt="Label Card Thinlits Die" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/133479T.jpg" width="125" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To add the colors on the front of the card, I used the masking tape technique. I chose to use the thicker masking tape to apply the ink instead of the thinner. I did one flap at a time and put a piece of scrap paper under it so as not to get the ink on the rest of the card. I used the new in-colors to ink it: Baked Brown Sugar (#131174), Coastal Cabana (#131175), and Crisp Cantaloupe (#131176). I also put two strips of the 3/8" Coastal Cabana Ruffle Stretch Ribbon (#130024) on the edge of the extended flap.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

My book is complete after only short time during the afternoon; now to find the perfect pictures to include in it! I covered the chipboard with some of the DSP provided to decorate the covers and then used the other materials to decorate the pages.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is another card using some similar colors and the same DSP as the previous posted card. I am going to show you how you can use some of the same papers and stamp sets as the last card to create a different look with different embellishments. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used Crumb Cake paper (#120953) as the card background, on the back of the rectangle strip, and on the flower that was punched. I used the Calypso Coral (#126983) ink to sponge the Tea Lace Paper Doily (#129399) and to stamp the words in the top right of the card. I used 'so kind of you' from the Sweet Essentials stamp set (#C126457, W132085). I then added pearls jewels (#119247) to the corner of the card</div>
<div align="center">
<img align="top" alt="Tea Lace Paper Doilies" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/129399T.jpg" width="125" /><br />
Tea Lace Paper Doily (#129399)<br />
<br />
To create the rest of the card I used the Epic Day This and That DSP (#130814) and adhered it to the crumb cake strip. When creating the flower, I used the Blossom Punch (#125603) and the technique called Faux Suede. You punch the flower out of the cardstock and then carefully pull it apart beginning at the edges to create two separate flowers that have the look of suede or a kind of worn look on one side. This textured side of the flowers is the side that is shown on the card. In the middle of the flower, I added a Vintage Faceted Button (#127555) with Linen Thread (#104199) tied in the middle of the button.<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/125603T.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img align="top" alt="Blossom Punch" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/125603T.jpg" width="125" /></a><br />
Blossom Punch (#125603)<br />
<br />
Have fun trying out the Faux Suede technique on your next card! Don't forget to check out the fabulous new items that are now available to order in the new Holiday Mini Catalog, as well. Happy Stamping!<br />

Sorry it has been so long since my last post, but I will be back to posting more cards and ideas again. The new Stampin' Up catalog is out, and it has many fabulous new items, such as washi tape and the hexagon punch I've used in the above card.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
I used Whisper White cardstock (#100730) for the card base and background. I used Crumb Cake cardstock (#120953) for the hexagons that have the greeting stamped on them and the Epic Day This and That DSP (#130814) was punched out and placed with dimensionals under the crumb cake hexagons. To stamp 'thinking of you,' I used both Calypso Coral and Early Espresso ink before punching it out. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
After all the snow we had lately, I was ready to create and bring some spring to my stamping, so I created this card using some of the things from the Stampin' Up Spring Mini catalog. It makes a beautiful card for mom.</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
I started with So Saffrom paper as the card base. To add texture and worn look to the edges of the papers, I ran the paper snips scissors (#103579) across each of the edges of the papers (First Edition Specialty DSP 121878, Lucky Limeade).</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
I cut the Tea for Two DSP (129311) into strips size 3 1/4"x1 1/2" and used adhesive to adhere them to the Very Vanilla before adding the textured impressions using the Vine Street folder from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. <strong>Spend $50 and you can receive this impressions folder free through Sale-a-Bration!</strong></div>
<div align="center">
<strong></strong> </div>
<div align="center">
I then stamped the small flowers (Language of Friendship W122750, C122752) into a cluster using So Saffron and Lucky Limeade on Very Vanilla, punched them out with the 1 1/4" circle punch and used the Vine Street impresions folder on these, as well as on the Lucky Limeade and So Saffron circles behind the flowers.</div>
<div align="center">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/122752T.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img align="top" alt="Language of Friendship - Clear-Mount Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!" border="0" height="200" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/122752T.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<img align="top" alt="1-1/4 Inch Circle Punch - by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/119861T.jpg" width="125" /> </div>
<div align="center">
Finall, I stamped Mom (Family Reunion W122710, C122712) and punched it out and added pearls around the word and in the middle of the flowers. <br />
<img align="top" alt="Family Reunion - Clear-Mount Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/122712T.jpg" width="125" /></div>

</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started with one of the 12x12 divided page protectors in the current catalog. There are 10 protectors in a pack (#127690).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also created the background papers using the In-Colors.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong>Paper:</strong> First Edition Specialty DSP, 2012-2014 In-Colors, Very Vanilla, Silver Glimmer Paper</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong>Ink: </strong>Primrose petals, Midnight Muse, Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (105021)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong>Stamps: </strong>You're Amazing (W126720, C126722)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/126722T.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img align="top" alt="You're Amazing Clear-Mount Stamp Set" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/126722T.jpg" width="125" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong>Punches: </strong>Ticket Duo Builder (126833), 1/16" Circle Handheld (101227)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img align="top" alt="Ticket Duo Punch" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/126883T.jpg" width="125" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong>Accessories: </strong>Stamping Sponges, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Paper Daisies, 1/8" Mini Brads, In Color Dahlias, Linen Thread, Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To create the flower on the page, I used the mini brad to hold the paper daisies together, placed a dahlia on top of the brad, and used the sponge and midnight muse ink around the edges. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<strong>Enjoy and have fun creating a scrapbook page of your own with these materials! Any of them can be ordered on my Stampin' Up website!</strong></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
What a quick and simple card it was to create! It also came with enough supplies to make 4 of these cards.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm just doing a quick post to show you an example of one of the <strong>new Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkins</strong>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These are projects that have the necessary supplies included in the box that will be shipped to you each month.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img src="https://mediat.stampinup.com/subkits/img/track-1.jpg" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sometimes we don't always have the time to cut out all of the supplies or to come up with an idea of what to make. That's what makes these Paper Pumpkin projects nice. If you are interested in more information on how to sign up for a monthly subscription to get a Paper Pumpkin then <strong>go to the Stampin' Up website or to </strong><a href="http://www.mypaperpumpkin.com/"><strong>www.mypaperpumpkin.com</strong></a>.<strong></strong></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
This birthday card uses supplies from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Remember, for every $50 you spend you get a free Sale-a-bration item! Check them out and order them today on my Stampin' Up website.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The base of the card is Island Indigo paper (122923) and has been cut and scored.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=107066" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_dltItem_ctl04_aImageLink"><img align="top" alt="Color Spritzer Tool - by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/I107066T.jpg" width="125" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1. I had fun trying out this Color Spritzer (#107066) on this card spritzing it with markers on the background Pool Party paper (122924) after I used an Adorning Accents Edgelits (125601) to shape the bottom.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=125598" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_dltItem_ctl06_aImageLink"><img align="top" alt="Labels Collection Framelits Dies" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/125598T.jpg" width="125" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2. Labels Framelits (125598) were used on Sycamore Street DSP, island indigo paper, and white paper. The white label was then spritzed and stamped with the Up, Up, and Away stamp set (W122755, C122757).<br />
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=122757" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_dltItem_ctl29_aImageLink"><img align="top" alt="Up, Up & Away - Clear-Mount Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/122757T.jpg" width="125" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
3. I embellished the top with ribbons and a button from the Sycamore Street pack in the Sale-a-bration.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
See what fun you can have with the new Sale-a-bration items!</div>

I have an adorable baby card to show you today that I'll be giving at a baby shower this week.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1cOhEPffhiXAHS8C0Kht2FgfYost3Asxosa2g6O6hXILPi8CPxprfA426KIWqCTGwhjFQBFHW6dg9NwRg1O493zZ8T5LSRwKhpZJwAy9GZLYyzQuw1-WPNNa3LZ0ZMKzxPH7DWhvZejKC/s1600/photo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ea="true" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1cOhEPffhiXAHS8C0Kht2FgfYost3Asxosa2g6O6hXILPi8CPxprfA426KIWqCTGwhjFQBFHW6dg9NwRg1O493zZ8T5LSRwKhpZJwAy9GZLYyzQuw1-WPNNa3LZ0ZMKzxPH7DWhvZejKC/s320/photo.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
1. For the card base, I used Calyspso Coral paper (#126983) and rounded the corners using the Corner Punch (119871).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=117335" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_dltItem_ctl04_aImageLink"><img align="top" alt="Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Die - by Stampin' Up!" border="0" height="200" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/117335T.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
2. Using the Big Shot (113439), emboss the Tea for Two DSP (129311) using this Perfect Polka Dots Folder (117335) to put on the front of the card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=127003" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_dltItem_ctl01_aImageLink"><img align="top" alt="Apothecary Accents Framelits Dies" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/127003T.jpg" width="125" /></a> </div>
3. I then used the same DSP as above, except the back side of the paper to coordinate with it, and cut it out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003).<br />
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=129267" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_dltItem_ctl02_aImageLink"><img align="top" alt="Bitty Banners Framelits Die" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/129267T.jpg" width="125" /></a><br />
4. On top of this Apothecary Framelit, another framelit cutout was added. I stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Very Vanilla paper with the words Sweet Baby from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp (W126255, C126257) and punched it out with the correlating Bitty Banners Framelits (129267).<br />
5. Embellisments: Pearls (119247)<br />
Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon (122976)<br />
Designer Builder Brads (129329)-use the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch<br />
Pack (118309) to put the DSP in the brad<br />
<a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=129329" id="ctl00_MainContentContainer_dltItem_ctl08_aImageLink"><img align="top" alt="Designer Builder Brads" border="0" src="http://www.stampinup.com/images/EC/129329T.jpg" width="125" /></a> <br />
You can click on the link to my Stampin' Up site to order any of the items listed above. Have fun stamping! <br />
